The Master Movie

The Master MovieThe Master is an upcoming drama movie written and directed by by Paul Thomas Anderson. The film is starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Jesse Plemons, David Warshofsky, Amy Adams, and Rami Malek. The film will hit theaters on October 12, 2012.

Here below a first teaser trailer of the Master movie:

THE MASTER
Plot:
"Set in America in the years following World War II, a charismatic intellectual (Philip Seymour Hoffman) launches a faith-based organization and taps a young drifter (Joaquin Phoenix) as his right-hand man. But as the faith begins to gain a fervent following, the onetime vagabond finds himself questioning the belief system he has embraced, and his mentor."

The Master isn't officially about the Church of Scientology, but it's hard not to think about the controversial cult and its founder L. Ron Hubbard. Let's hope the film will bypass the scientologist lobby and will be released without any cut.

Anyway, stay tuned with us for more details about the Master movie.
